With Compass Cam, users can record videos or take photos that include embedded data such as compass direction, timestamp, date, level indicator, and pitch angle, facilitating comprehensive documentation.
The app features standard camera functionalities including pinch-to-zoom, rear camera operation with auto exposure and focus modes, and support for both landscape and portrait orientations.
Additional features include the ability to capture images and videos with embedded information, toggle the display of time and date, compass direction, grid overlays, level gauges, and pitch angle indicators. Users also have the option to save original photos during capture for enhanced versatility.
Practical applications encompass travel journaling with embedded route data, monitoring object orientation and direction, among other creative uses tailored by user needs.
This tool provides an efficient method for capturing visual content with directional and temporal metadata—simply snap a photo or record a video, and the relevant information is embedded automatically.
Note: Captured media is stored in the photo library for convenient access. The supported pitch angle range extends from -60 to 60 degrees.
